Meet Theresa (Ugalde) Cho L.Ac., Dipl OM, MSOM

Every woman’s journey to motherhood is deeply personal and unique. Having experienced her own fertility challenges and pregnancy losses, Theresa brings heartfelt empathy and a gentle, compassionate approach to her work. Becoming a mother herself has further fueled her passion for helping women navigate the path to parenthood with confidence and care. In addition to fertility, Theresa treats the whole body and addresses concerns like PCOS, endometriosis, stress, anxiety, digestive issues, insomnia, and hormone imbalances—helping women feel their best at every stage of life.

Theresa specializes in Women’s Health and Fertility and is committed to ongoing advanced training to best support her patients. Previously an associate acupuncturist at Botanica Wellness Sanctuary, she had the honor of working alongside fertility specialist Debra Kuhn, L.Ac., and collaborating closely with some of Denver’s leading Reproductive Endocrinologists. Today, she continues to offer “on-call” acupuncture for frozen embryo transfers (FET) at Conceptions Reproductive Center and other top fertility clinics throughout the Denver metro area, where she is recognized as a preferred provider.

Theresa earned her Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. This rigorous four-year program included over 3,000 hours of education and 1,100+ hours of hands-on clinical training. She is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM, with certifications in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Clean Needle Technique.

Fluent in Spanish, Theresa is passionate about making Traditional Chinese Medicine accessible and empowering to all communities. She strongly believes in the power of combining Eastern and Western medicine to help patients achieve optimal wellness.
